Notifications Overview
Notification Must read tips
Turn on emergency bypass for text alerts
If you are a contact for an EAP, we recommend enabling emergency bypass. This will ensure you are notified of EAP activations even if your phone is silenced. Here are the steps:
- Create a contact such as "EZ-EAP Alerts" for 888-608-1261
- Select the "text tone" field
- Toggle on emergency bypass and select your preferred text tone
Check Your Focus Settings
Ensure your phone settings will not block notifications. Focus settings like "work" and "sleep" allow users to block notifications from apps and contacts. Here are the steps to ensure EZ-EAP notifications will not be blocked:
- Go to your device setting and select "Focus"
- In each focus setting allow notifications from the EZ-EAP App.
- In each focus setting allow notifications for your "EZ-EAP Alerts" contact as a person.
- In each focus setting allow email notifications if you have enabled them and wish to receive them.
Allow Push Notifications
When logging into EZ-EAP on your mobile app, your device will ask if you wish to allow push notifications. Ensure you select "allow." This can also be edited in your device settings.
